2014 : About Margaret Lynette Sharp

It’s 2014. I’ve been writing now for almost three and a half years, and have ten titles published and available on Amazon. All except one, ’60 Questions, Insights and Reminiscences’, are romantic. The most recent three in the series are novellas, a medium I find I’m enjoying.

Currently I’m having a break from serious writing.Β  Our Maltese Chicki and I still frequently visit the local park.

For now, I’m focussing on other projects, for example, learning to drive. Will this be an enormous challenge? At this stage, i simply don’t know, but I’m eager to find out…

That picture is absolutely awesome with the prettiest smile to brighten my 7 degree morning here in NC. I have known a few friends that have sweet dogs like yours and they are so loving. What is this about learning to drive? How have you been getting about? Now I want to know more about this mysterious new friend I found down under.

My husband Ron is the driver of the house, but I think it’s about time I had a go. Ron is in his eighties now, and it could be helpful if I could be a reserve.

Thanks for your compliments. Chicki is one of the brightest lights of my life. She is three years old. We rescued her from a shelter when she was thirteen months old. She is so loving. πŸ™‚

Wow you have been prolific in publishing material. I have had material published for charity in various anthologies, but apart from online publications via Flash Fiction/Pod-casts and Short stories on Morgen Bailey’s Writing Blog, I am still writing 3 novels and good ness knows what else. I admire your hard work and drive. I should be ready to publish my own crime anthology soon. I am pleased to meet you here and to follow your blog with interest. Happy days πŸ™‚

Thanks for you kind words, Jane! I’m starting to run out of steam, though I have just completed a short work (9,000 words).
I think it’s quite extraordinary that you can work on three novels at once. πŸ™‚ Your Flash Fiction is very impressive.
      Thanks for following my blog!
Best of luck with your writing journey.

Good luck to you too. It is hard going I agree. I have just completed 3,000 words for a publisher and am hitting 12,000 today for another publisher – fingers crossed. Plus I have been asked to write two 3,000 words shorts for another charity anthology later this summer. Plus the books as well. Sucker for punishment but I have to steam ahead whilst the fire is in the hearth!! I do hope you are not too worn out and ready to pick up the pen (keyboard) again soon πŸ™‚

That’s a wonderful goal! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. πŸ™‚ Totally agree that you must keep at it while you have enthusiasm and energy!
I am going to have another break from fiction writing, and see what happens with what I’ve already done. I need to spend some time on promotion.Maybe I’ll look for a publisher for my latest little effort. Plus, I’m still learning to drive (Been on L’s for two and a half months.).
I look forward to reading more of your Flash Fiction!

I’ve been fascinated by the photographs you’ve been posting. I’ve worked on and off on a series of poems about birds, and many of your photos have made me go back and dig out those old poems to take another look at them. I’m afraid I’ve rather over-committed my time for the next couple of months, and I’m sure you’re busy too (that being the nature of writing), but if you’re interested, we might play with the idea of doing something collaborative, perhaps a WordPress blog-page where the photographs and poems are paired or something. Again, I’m swamped at the moment, but if that might be of interest to explore next year just for fun, you can reach me at L Kaminski yahoo com. Even if you’re not interested, wanted to let you know that I enjoy these photos!
