Clowns of the Bush: Sulphur-crested Cockatoos

Searching for lunch…

Few birds make their presence felt as much as these clowns of the bush!

Often, the first sounds I hear as a alight from our car is their raucous cries.  So often, this is followed by the sight of a large flock flying by: landing wherever their fancy takes them.

Here are some scenes from our local bushland park.

Enjoy!

To see one of those unique and beautiful birds is awesome but I can’t imagine a flock of them. It truly looks like a piece of paradise there. You are so blessed.

They are such characters, Odie 🙂
I am lucky to live near so many wonderful things.

I can’t tell you how envious I am of you having the opportunity to see these characters when you go out. The most exotic birds we ever see on the ground are pigeons or seagulls.
