Pink Frangipanis: At the Height of their Season

8 Apr

Here in Sydney, Australia, the Frangipanis are at the height of their season.

We have a couple in our front garden.

This is a photograph of our pink specimen. It was planted about forty-five years ago by my parents.

Although it lacks the glorious, strong perfume of the yellow variety, its delightful colour more than makes up for it.

Besides, we for one household  don’t really need it since the aroma of the yellow one fills the night air.

Beautiful Margaret though I imagine hell on Earth if you have hay fever.

You are so blessed to have so much beauty around you all the time. A lot of the year the most we see is green mainly since we have so many pine trees. Thanks for sharing the colors with us.

Green is good, too, though I confess to loving the colours of the Frangipanis. 🙂
