A Couple of Galahs
Just a couple of Galahs…
Now and then I see a small flock of these, searching for food on the local, grass footpaths.
Being able to observe wild parrots at close quarters is one of the joys of living in a part of Sydney that is near to an extensive area of bushland.

With their very pastel shades it’s hard to think of them as parrots. Having said that, they”re still much gaudier than anything we have around here except maybe kingfishers. Absolutely beautiful picture and great to be able to get so close without them flying away.
