Little Pied Cormorant

What I like most about this photograph are the colours, which to me reflect a quiet serenity.

That said, the pose adopted by this Little Pied Cormorant seems just right. Engaging, lively.

This photo was taken on a Georges River wharf.

There appears to be an inquisitive attitude it its posture. 🙂

I love the piers. They are a wonderful shape and colour 🙂 But the bird is even better 🙂

You know, David, these birds are often flying solo. 🙂 Now and then, though, I’ve seen a large flock.

It seems they know when you are around and cooperate nicely. Love the shot

Thanks, Odie! It seems that some birds actually enjoy being photographed, while others take fright and fly away.
