I’ve Just Been Swimming…

The Baths

I’ve just been swimming. Though officially it’s Autumn, the weather is quite mild and the river remains warm. Add high tide, and what have you go? Perfection!

Many people bring their canine companions along to enjoy the walk beside the water, and so Chicki gets to meet and greet friends, old and new.

It’s a win win situation!

I know how much you enjoy swimming so I’m glad the weather is still mild enough for you to do so. Is there an indoor pool you can use during the Winter months?

Hi, David! I’ve just heard that the weather is about to turn wintery…at least for several days.
There are some indoor pools in the district, but I haven’t bothered with them for many years. A poor second to swimming in the salt water.

Jealous! We’re still a long way from swim weather here (and even then, I suspect most people would not consider it swim weather themselves – the joys of being from a cold climate!).

Sydney has a long swimming season 🙂
On the other hand, I’ve never seen snow. It looks so pretty!

I’d take the long swimming season over the snow! And I agree it looks pretty. And it’s even fun sometimes. After months and months of winter, though, it gets rather old!
