One of the glories of Springtime must surely be the wonderful flowers that it brings. Here is a photo of a beautiful modern variety of Jonquil, taken in my garden.
Enjoy!

One of Chicki’s most talented friends is Sasha, the Frisbee-catching dog.
Frisbees have been a part of Sasha’s life for many, many years. She’s ten, now, but showing few signs of slowing down.
Here’s an action shot of her mid air!
Enjoy!

Whenever the Baby Animal Stall makes its appearance at the local fairs, I always head straight for it. I love so many baby animals. From lambs to kid goats to chickens to ducklings: they’re all delightful.
I hope you like this photo I took of some sweet feathered friends.
Oh, and by the way, this blog is ALMOST FULL, and I won’t be able to post here much more, so I’ve created two other blogs. Here are the links.

Most days I see water-birds on the river. They seem to especially drawn to the netted baths, where the crabs and other little treats reside.
Today I saw a White-faced Heron. As usual he was on his own: that is, until a pair of wild ducks swam past. But this was just for a fleeting moment, and before I knew it he was once again all alone.

Although many commentators are saying that’s it’s mid-winter here in Sydney. Mother Nature seems to be sending a different message. The first of the Spring flowers are in bloom…
One of my favourites is the azalea. We have seven in our front garden, and at present, two are blooming.
Enjoy this first taste of a Spring in Sydney, Australia.
