Hello, Maggie!

Margaret's Classic Posts

What handsome birds are these Australian Magpies! So smartly feathered in black and white…

And what beautiful, musical sounds they make… To hear a caroling Magpie  is a treat for one’s ears.

Sometimes they’ve had bad press, especially in the breeding season, for swooping – but, since I normally wear a hat or cap when I’m in their territory, they’ve never bothered me.

P.S. Going off at a tangent, I’ve just released another sweet romance set in Australia!2015_1028imagefacebook0111

It’s funny how alike our magpies are and yet the patterning is distinctly different.
Very best of luck with the new book Margaret.

Congrats on being a creative person!
I only see magpies when I travel. There are none where I live. I am entranced by them. They have different coloration in different regions. If you are nice to them, they bring you gifts.
