The Beautiful Blue Mountains!

23 Aug

Margaret's Classic Posts

Now and again, Ron and I visit the Blue Mountains, which are just a few hours drive from where we live in suburban Sydney. The scenery is so much different from that of home, and very spectacular, especially from the mountain lookouts. Here are a couple of photos, just to give you an idea.

New Release: ‘Longbourn Revisited’

23 Aug

Margaret's Classic Posts

Earlier this year, fellow writer and friend, Sarah Johnson, suggested that I might like to try something different: Jane Austen fan fiction. Being a long-time lover of the immortal classic, ‘Pride and Prejudice’, I approached the project with mixed emotions.  Excitement and insecurity about my ability to anyways approach doing justice to this iconic work figured high amongst them. At any rate, this is the result: a novelette entitled ‘Longbourn Revisited’, which was published just a few hours ago.

Kudos to Sarah Johnson, of Peculiar Designs, for creating its cover.14060354_1776488029299331_1192375809_o (1)
