One of Chicki’s most talented friends is Sasha, the Frisbee-catching dog.
Frisbees have been a part of Sasha’s life for many, many years. She’s ten, now, but showing few signs of slowing down.
Here’s an action shot of her mid air!

IMPORTANT REMINDER: This blog is almost completely full. I have about two posts to go. Please join me at my other sites! Thank you 🙂
Chicki in the rain
Yesterday, both Chicki and I were caught in the rain.
Sydney’s seemingly endless summer suddenly disappeared, replaced by cool southerlies and showers.
Not to be deterred, I still managed my morning swim in the still-warm river.
Here’s Chicki in her wet weather gear. I wonder what she’s thinking?
Chicki in the Bush
I wonder what Chicki is looking at?
It could be anything: sulphur-crested cockatoos, magpies, ducks. The list goes on…
Nevertheless, here she is on a ledge in the local bushland park, looking a picture of innocent interest. 🙂
I’m sure that her daily visits to the park are the highlight of her life.
Sasha in action
They say a picture is worth a thousand words…
Here’s Sasha, the best Frisbee-catcher I’ve ever seen, doing her thing.
She’s one of a select group of local canines who can boast that they are friends of our Chicki.
Tomorrow looks set to be a red-letter day.
It’s Chicki’s birthday!
Our little girl came into the world on October 6, 2010.
She settling down, I’m pleased to say: gaining in confidence all the time. And why shouldn’t she? She’s a real sweetie!
Happy Birthday, Chicki!
Chicki, Posing 🙂
I may be biased, but one of my favourite sights is our little girl Chicki. Add to that the scene of one of my favourite places, and what have we got? For my money, a lovely picture!
I hope that you all agree 🙂
