Here’s to Libraries!

Where would we be without public libraries?

With all their books,both fiction and non-fiction, their magazines, audio tapes and so on, they cater for all ages and tastes.  What a stunning community resource! Does today’s society take them for granted?

They now hold an even greater degree of pleasure for me, since I now know that our local library will soon have access to all my books published to date! Who knows: I might even make some new friends!

So here’s to public libraries, a storehouse of knowledge and interest!
