Here we are in April 2012, and we’ve just published our sixth book: a paperback entitled ‘Long and Short Australian Stories’.
The cover, designed by my husband Ronald Sharp B.E.M., features a colourful photograph of waves crashing onto the rocks at one of Sydney’s famous beaches, Cronulla. It relates to the book.
Several tales are set by the sea-side, and what better way to capture the spirit of Australian life than by such a picture? Some may see the picture as symbolic.
Will this book achieve commercial success? Who knows?
Ahead lies a review of one of my early books ‘A Taste of Life and Love in Australia’, scheduled to be published by a respected book blogger this July. Will it be favourable? Fingers crossed! Will other reviews, of this and other books, be in the offing? What does life have in store for me and my literary ambitions?
